That's a good question! If you're about to graduate from college, the best way to network is to use your school's career center. Almost all colleges offer students some kind of career office, where they can find internships and speak with alumni about their experiences. Alumni absolutely love to help current students! They provide a wealth of information about how to find jobs and might even give you leads on some contacts.

Of course, the best way to network is to just get yourself out in the working world! Take as many internships as you can and just keep collecting those business cards!

Do you have any advice for someone young who doesn't have a ton of contacts. You say that you can just go up to someone at a wedding, social gather etc., but what if you don't have those kind of events in your social calender? What do you advise for a fresh start person try to get in on the world of networking?
