Federal Perkins Loan Cancellations
College students who go on to become teachers, guidance counselors, or librarians may become eligible to cancel their Perkins Loan after working in low-income school districts.
TEACH Grant Program
This grant is aimed at students who intend to teach at high-need schools. Students who are enrolled in a teaching program can receive up to $4,000 a year just for going to school!
Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program (TLFP)
The TLFP is a program that provides loan compensation for the educators who teach for five consecutive years in a low-income area. Under this program, eligible students may receive as much as $17,500 for their loans.
