In the latest edition of PEOPLE magazine, country singing sensation Taylor Swift denies rumors that she is dating her fellow teen crooner Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. “We’re all friends,” she insists.

But that’s really old news. Swift emphasizes that her diploma is more important than dating! After recently receiving her high school diploma in the mail, she is absolutely beaming with pride.

“Graduating high school is really, really cool,” she says. “I’m so proud of it because I stopped going to high school in 10th grade, but I started home-schooling.”

Wait, so Swift ISN’T dating Joe Jonas, whose idea of a good time is playing Pictionary? She IS a smart girl!

Swift, who currently holds the No. 1 AND No. 2 spots on the Billboard Country Album Chart with her combo CD/DVD, “Beautiful Eyes”, continues to say, “it’s really good to know you don’t have to give up on your dreams to graduate high school, and you don’t have to quit your education to live your dreams. It’s really cool that you can do both.”
