With the help of the CoFFEE program, communication and problem solving are both encouraged. What may seem strange, however, is the fact that the program is actually designed to be used at ground schools with students all in the same classroom. In this way, the students can still talk face-to-face with one another while also using the program to help encourage communication and collaboration. By doing so, the researchers believe the students are better prepared for the workplace, where they will be called upon to engage in verbal exchanges while also interacting with others with the help of technology.
