President Obama and Vice President Biden met with the Cabinet on June 8th to discuss details of the Stimulus Plan, which will hopefully create many new jobs. 60,000 jobs to be exact. The President and his team anticipates that 60,000 will be created by the end of the summer. Here’s how it’s supposed to be broken down:

-135,000 education jobs, including teachers, principals, and other support staff
-125,000 summer youth jobs
-Initiate 2,300 construction and rehabilitation projects at 359 military facilities
-Hire or keep approximately 5,000 law enforcement officers
-Begin improvements at 90 veteran health care facilities
