August 30, 2009 – For those of you interested in interior design, Housing Works Bookstore is a nonstop advocate and promoter of sustainable design and community housing for the underprivileged. Also, as many of their events go, in September and October the Housing Works Bookstore will be the benefitting non-profit for Metropolitan Home’s SHOWTIME HOUSE @ Tribeca Summit. New York’s top designers are going to transform a gigantic penthouse into several showrooms whose inspiration will be based on shows such as Dexter, Weeds, and Californication.

The designers include Piero Lissoni, Markus Dochantschi, Richard Mishaan, James Biber, Francine Gardner, Christopher Coleman with Angel Sanchez, Holly Hunt, Kara Mann, Marie Aiello, and Paul Latham.
The turnout throughout the period of the showing is expected to be at least 10,000, among them will be serious personalities in the industry as well as people who are simply fans (or who want to become fans) of class design.
