I am a resident of Newark, NJ and have been to Beth Israel Hospital a few times along with various members of my family and the treatment that we had received there was very good. The staff there no matter how crowded always was courteous. My mother was a patient there in February of this year as a cardiac with other illnesses. Unfortunately, her illness was very severe and she passed away on March 23, 2009 but while she was there, she was treated very well. No matter what time of day or night it was, my immediate family and I were always welcome and given the status of her condition without any problems.

I was born at Newark Beth as was all my children. Although I no longer reside in NJ I have returned to participate in a program offered. And a family member was temporarily hospitalized while visiting. The nursing staff was most helpful and empathetic.

I plan on reserving a place for my family on the Wall of Recognition. I think that is an excellent idea.

    Keep up the good work.
