Your Cell Phone Provider May Owe You Money

Did you download a ringtone or game onto your cell phone? If so, you might be entitled to a $10 refund!

Cell phone users won a settlement this week against companies that charged them for downloading features that they thought were free.

If your claim is approved, you will have the option to receive either a cash award or a refund of $10. The total settlement fund is capped, so make sure you file a claim as soon as possible.

The settlement, approved by the Cook County Chancery Court in Chicago, settles some 30 class-action lawsuits over improperly charged downloads.
