Those who were employed in computer systems design and related services earned the most, with a median annual income of $109,130. Those who worked as managers of companies and enterprises earned $105,980, while those who worked in data processing, hosting and related services earned $105,200. Computer and information systems managers who worked for insurance carriers earned $102,180, while those who worked for colleges, universities and professional schools earned the least with a median annual salary of $83,280.
