tax careers are booming.
There
are many different avenues in tax-related work. Here
is a list of these taxation careers and a brief summary
including what the job entails and the pay expectancy.
Tax
preparers put tax returns together for people and
small businesses but do not need to have the background
or experience of a certified public accountant. They
check data and verify form totals prepared by taxpayers
to find errors in calculations, data entry or other
procedures. Tax preparers use relevant information
and their own judgment to make sure all processes comply
with laws and regulations. The median annual salary
for tax preparers was $39,500 in 2004.
Tax accountants concentrate on advising businesses about the tax
advantages and disadvantages of business decisions and help companies establish
tax shelter. Additionally, they prepare individual income tax returns. They
