Break Into a Medical Career
Sooner Than You Think

What will you accomplish in the next three months? Train for a marathon? Become an expert in Taekwondo? Or will you be a certified medical professional?

It’s a common misperception that getting into the healthcare industry takes years. After all, becoming a physician requires 11 years of education and experience, training for nursing averages 4 years. However, becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant can take as little as 12 weeks and is a great way to get your foot in the door for other medical professions. In this issue we’ll show you what it takes to get started in this fast-paced career.

What is a Certified Nurse Assistant?
Certified nursing assistants are behind the scenes in hospitals making sure that each medical staff member gets as much help as possible. Their duties include delivering messages, answering the call lights of patients, serving meals, helping patients dress and bathe, making beds and assisting patients with eating.
