Pick a college that fits like a glove

With so many different colleges to choose from it can be hard to find one that’s right for you.

There are many factors that go into picking a school. To help in this search we’ve made a guide of four things you need to know before you pick a college.

One of the best ways to pick a college is by the type of school it is. Maybe you are interested in working with computers. Technical schools offer computer programs like security, database technology and programming. Do you want to be a chef or try your hand as an artist? There are schools specialized in culinary, art and trade programs. Would a career in education or counseling suit you? Try going to a 2-year career school or 4-year college. If you know what field interests you, pick a school that works with what you love.

Accreditation is a status given to schools and programs that meet and often exceed criteria of educational standards. If a school is accredited, the instructors and course content have been evaluated and maintain exceptional quality. It also means that these schools are able to issue program degrees...
