At the start of every budget sequence managers and department

under review. Budget analyst's responsibilities include identifying
the major principles or facts of information by breaking down information
into various separate parts and monitoring and controlling resources
and supervising the spending of money within the company.
Other responsibilities
budget analysts have are:
- Executing employee bargaining agreements
- Advising clients on financial
matters
- Maintaining budgeting data bases
- Developing company budgets
- Compiling data for financial reports
- Making revenue forecasts
- Consulting with managerial personnel
After the primary review process,
budget analysts merge the individual departmental budgets into capital
budget summaries. Through the rest of the year budget analysts keep
track of the budget by reviewing reports and records to establish that
funds have been spent as directed. Budget analysts may also be involved
in long-range planning needs for certain organizations.
