Advanced Training Associates is a veteran-owned family business dedicated to helping students develop key career skills. Our programs include exceptional curriculums, small classrooms for personal student attention, as well as the training and guidance necessary for our students to graduate and find employment in their chosen field.
This 6-month program includes an individualized classroom instruction and on the job training a 4-week internship. The course includes terminology, anatomy and physiology, processing insurance forms, scheduling appointments and other critical processes. Graduates can find work in medical front offices, hospital offices and other medical settings.
This 9-month program prepares students for entry-level positions in many jobs such as Clinical Medical Assistant, Electrocardiogram Technician, Medical Secretary, and Medical Receptionist. The program includes medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, patient relations, injections, processing forms, and other critical services.
This 9-month long program covers all elements of the IST field, including electronics, service and repair, computer hardware and software, computer networking and computer repair, as well as an introduction to fiber optics. This course may lead to ETA and FOA certifications.
Graduates of this program go on to qualify for entry level technician positions in the in-demand field of Computer Networking, such as Data Communications Analyst and Network Control Operator. Hands-on lab work and intensive classroom study is involved.
Students gain a firm understanding of electronic equipment service and repair, and benefit from preparation and optional testing for the Associate Electronics Technicians Certification. Graduates have the opportunity to find employment in areas such as Assembly Technicians, Medical Equipment Repair, Electronics Worker, or Electronic Equipment Repair.
Students are introduced to the field of fiber optics during hands-on lab studies. Graduates will be prepared to find entry-level work in areas such as a Fiber Optics and Cabling Installation Technician. Students are also prepared for testing for industry certification as a Fiber Optics and Cabling Installer.
This 9-month program helps students learn to speak, read and write English, and improve their current English speaking skills. Federal Grants are available to qualified students.
The classes at Advanced Training Associates are small, so our students receive more one-on-one attention and personal mentoring than many other colleges.
Advanced Training Associates is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE) and the Commission on International and Trans-regional Accreditation (CITA).
All ATA courses are eligible for DoD, corporate, and other tuition assistance programs. Each approved course is eligible for Federal Financial Aid for qualified students. Tuition Assistance and Veterans Benefits may also be used at Advanced Training Associates.
Advanced Training Associates offers Career Development classes. Each class both fun and informative, giving students help with resume preparation, salary negotiation and job hunting. Placement coordinators help students find new ways to find suitable employment.
