Medical Assisting:

Those who graduate from medical assistant training can work with doctors in physician’s offices, group practices, clinics and hospitals. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of important tasks, including scheduling and receiving patients, preparing and maintaining medical records, performing basic secretarial tasks and assisting with general patient care.

Dental Assisting:

Graduates of a dental assistant school can work with dentists in their offices and in other clinical settings. Clinical responsibilities include exposing and processing x-rays, conducting oral inspections, and preparing patients for treatment. Administrative responsibilities include patient charting, completing insurance forms and processing accounts payable.

Pharmacy Technician:

Pharmacy Technicians work alongside pharmacists in hospitals, clinics, and retail and institutional pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining patient records, packaging and labeling medication, filling and dispensing basic prescriptions and conducting inventories.

Personal Fitness Training:

The objectives of the Personal Fitness Trainer program are to provide the graduates with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to qualify for personal trainer positions in gyms, fitness centers, private studios, corporate wellness programs, or begin their own personal fitness training business. The program is designed to provide a combination of academic theory via business, anatomy, and physiology courses and technical skills through the technical courses to provide graduates with skills to competently work in the fitness and wellness field. Students will learn exercise programming, interpersonal communication, marketing, exercise program design, weight loss program design, and business related skills. Completion of the Personal Fitness Trainer Program is acknowledged by the awarding of a diploma.
