The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC) program is designed for persons with or without previous training or experience in any of the climate control disciplines. This program is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills for entry-level employment in the field of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. Students are prepared to take the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification test.
The dental assistant diploma program is designed to prepare students to assist the dentist chair side. The program prepares students to work in the operatory or treatment room assisting the dentist, as well as, performing various administrative and clerical duties. Graduates may also choose to take the Dental Assisting National Board's Certified Dental Assistant examination.
The expanded function dental assistant diploma program is designed to prepare students for expanded dental assistant duties. This includes work under the direct supervision of a dentist. The program also prepares students in the various administrative and clerical procedures required including word processing, managing files and records, scheduling appointments, and handling other front-office duties.
