Advanced human patient simulation and training, combined with externships in top facilities, create skilled graduates ready for today’s in-demand health care field.
This 40-week program will teach students to master crown and bridge creation, model, wax, metal and porcelain techniques, using the PTC (Productivity Training Corporation) Skill Learning System.
This 38-week program includes 30 weeks in class, with an 8 week externship. Students learn chair-side assisting, radiology skills, lab procedures, materials preparation and patient preparation.
Consisting of 30 weeks of classroom time and 4 weeks of externship work, this program stresses training in entry-level skills needed in medical offices and clinics, including medical terminology, clinical and lab procedures, anatomy, and administrative assisting.
This program consists of 30 weeks of classroom training with 4 weeks of externship. Students learn skills like communication, business math, medical and dental insurance billing and coding, pharmacology and terminology and more. Grads can take the CPC or CPC-H credentialing exam.
This 45-week course includes 600 hours of lecture and lab instruction and 540 hours of externship. Students learn to assist in surgical operations, including preparation of operating rooms, observing vital signs, checking charts, and more. Grads are qualified to take the Certified Surgical Technician credentialing exam.
Ameritech College has been institutionally accredited by The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) since 1984. ABHES is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency under the provision of Chapter 33, Title 38 of the U.S. Code and subsequent legislation. Many programs at Ameritech are also programmatically accredited. The Surgical Technologist program is approved by CAAHEP and ARC-ST.
