Coursework includes computer hardware, operating systems, networking, programming and database management, distributed information systems, systems analysis, system design, and decision support systems. Students are prepared to sit for up to six professional certifications.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Public Safety is offered 100% online. It offers a combination of public administration and management courses that focus on public policy issues from budget development to grant writing and property management, administrative law, social policy and event response. The program provides a comprehensive curriculum that allows students with existing associate degrees in approved related fields to complete their baccalaureate degree and pursue career advancement. Graduates are prepared to meet the demand for well-educated administrators in fire departments, emergency medical service agencies, police and sheriff’s departments and other governmental bureaus nationally.
Registered Nurse, RN to BSN
Designed for graduates of Associate Degree and Diploma nursing programs who are currently licensed as an RN. Special emphasis on the allocation and management of physical, fiscal, and human resources. All coursework is online, one course per month, with clinical practicums in the community.

This course is designed for those wishing to pursue a higher education in accounting. The accounting field is expected to grow over 10% through 2014, with an increased need for specialists in taxes, financial reporting standards, business investments and other financial events.

This program includes instruction in current criminal justice issues and exposure to the latest technology used in the criminal justice field. Students are prepared to transfer to four-year degree programs.

Coursework provides a solid foundation in business administration, management, and health services knowledge. Students are prepared to transfer to four-year degree programs, and may find work in physician’s offices as managers, or supervisors in health are organizations.

This program provides a comprehensive review of the Department of Homeland Security, and includes coursework in hazardous materials identification, domestic and international terrorism and more.
- Information Technology, AS
Program objectives include an emphasis in security support and network administration, hardware and software, troubleshooting, and mixed and multi-user environments.
- Medical Assistant, AS
Students are trained in examination room preparation, vital signs, minor surgical procedure assistance, injections, venipuncture, lab operations, and administration duties such as patient records, billing, and handling insurance claims. Clinical practice at a healthcare facility in the community is part of the program.

Students learn key elements of legal research, writing, analysis, client and witness interviewing, fact gathering, corporation and partnership forming, real estate closings, lease drafting, drafting contract, and other essential duties performed as paralegals.
