Spencerian College Programs:

Clinical Assistant Diploma

Day program – 9 months. Evening program – 15 months. Graduates of this course are eligible to sit for certification through the American Medical Technologist (AMT) as a Registered Medical Assistant.

Clinical Laboratory Assistant Specialist

Day program – 12 months. Evening program – 18 months. Students will be able to perform lab and donor service duties, filling a vital role in clinical laboratory settings.

Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist

Day program – 18 months. Evening program 27 months. Students learn how to analyze medical records, assign codes to indices of diagnoses and procedures, as well as trouble shoot medical claims, do chart audits and more.

Limited Medical Radiography Diploma

Day program – 12 months. Evening program – 18 months. This program is good for students already in the medical profession. Limited Medical Radiographers work in clinics, doctors offices, public health institutions and urgent care centers.

Massage Therapy Diploma

Day program – 9 months. Evening program – 15 months. Graduates of this program will be prepared to obtain national certification, state licensures and local permits in massage therapy.

Medical Administrative Management

Day program – 18 months. Evening program – 27 months. Graduates will be proficient in office procedures, perform administrative, clinical, and management duties and assist doctors.

Medical Assistant Diploma

Day program – 12 months. Evening program – 21 months. Graduates will have the skills to work in a doctor’s office, handle administrative duties, assist in patient care, and perform appropriate medical procedures.

Medical Clinical Specialties

Day program – 21 months. Evening program – 30 months. Students learn to perform clinically in a doctor’s office or other facility, obtaining lab specimens, taking x-rays, and assisting with patient care.

Medical Coding Specialist Diploma

Day program – 12 months. Evening program – 18 months. Students learn to transform narrative descriptions of diagnoses and procedures into numerical billing format. They will also learn to assign codes, and analyze medical records.

Medical Laboratory Technician

Day program – 24 months. Evening program – 33 months. Using the latest technological instrumentation, this program trains students to perform routine lab tests on blood, urine and other fluids to help diagnose diseases and injury in a medical lab setting.

Medical Massage Therapy, AAS

Day program – 15 months. Evening program 24 months. Students are prepared to work in a medical or specialized clinical setting and receive a deeper understanding of neurology, analysis and application skills.

Medical Transcriptionist Diploma

Day program – 12 months. Evening program – 15 months. Students learn how to transcribe a physicians surgical and diagnostic report. This program also includes courses in anatomy and physiology.

Phlebotomy Certificate

Day program – 6 months. Evening program – 9 months. Graduates have the skills required to pass the national certification examination.

Radiologic Technology, AAS

Day program – 27 months. Graduates learn how to assist radiologists produce radiographs and may work in hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities.

Architectural Computer Aided Design Drafting, AAS

Day program – 18 months. Evening program – 24 months. Students develop the skills to create technical drawings for the design and construction of architectural disciplines. Using drafting and related equipment is part of the program.

Certificate in Drafting – Architecture

Day program – 9 months. Evening program – 12 months. Students are equipped to produce and reproduce technical drawings and sketches, and are prepared for entry level jobs as drafters.

Certificate in Drafting – Civil

Day program – 9 months. Evening program – 12 months. Students are equipped to produce and reproduce technical drawings and sketches, and are prepared for entry level jobs as drafters.

Certificate in Drafting – Mechanical

Day program – 9 months. Evening program – 12 months. Students are equipped to produce and reproduce technical drawings and sketches, and are prepared for entry level jobs as drafters.

Civil Computer Aided Design Drafting

Day program – 18 months. Evening program – 24 months. The goal of the program is to prepare students to create civil engineering drawings. Computer aided design drafting and related equipment is part of this program.

Mechanical Computer Aided Design Drafting, AAS

Day program – 18 months. Evening program – 24 months. The goal of this program is to prepare students to develop the skills to create technical drawings for the design of mechanical equipment, accessories and related devices.

Biomedical Engineering Technology

Day program – 21 months. Evening program – 27 months. Graduates will have a solid background in electronic engineering and biological processes.

Computer & Electronic Engineering Technology, AAS

Day program – 27 months. Evening program – 33 months. Upon graduations, students are prepared for the following certifications: CET (Certified Electronic Technician), A+ (Hardware and Software), Network_, Linux_, CWNA, Security+, and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

Computer Engineering Technology, AAS

Day program – 18 months. Evening program – 24 months. This program is designed to give graduates a solid background in electronics and progress to advanced product specific training on routers and switches associated with both local are and wide area networks.

Computer Information Systems Management, AAS

Day program – 18 months. Evening program – 24 months. This program is designed to prepare students for the tasks performed by Network Administrators and System Engineers. Graduates are prepared for certifications in: A+, Network+, Linux+, Security+, Cisco Certified Wireless Field Engineer (CCWFE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and Microsoft Certified Network Administrator (MCSA).

Computer Repair

Day program – 12 months. Evening program – 15 months. Students gain the skills to understand and carry out troubleshooting and repairs of personal computers and peripheral hardware.

Electronic Engineering Technology, AAS

Day program – 18 months. Evening program – 24 months. Graduates will have a solid foundation in basic electronics, and progress to advanced studies in wireless communication systems, industrial systems, and computer systems.

Computer Graphic Design

Day program – 18 months. Evening program – 24 months. Students gain the skills necessary in computer graphics, desktop publishing, computer animation, 3-D computer modeling and other related services.
