Graphic designers create graphics to meet client's specific commercial or promotional needs for anything from packaging, displays or logos. They use their training from a Graphic Design Degree program to work with color, illustration, photography, animation and various print and layout techniques to utilize client’s needs. Many graphic designers work with magazines, newspapers and the internet. Over the next ten years graphic design is expected to grow very steadily, about 22%.

Interior designers plan, design, lay-out and help furnish interiors of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. They blend colors, textures, furniture, lighting and overall space to help a room live up to its full function and look beautiful based on a budget set by the client. Jobs for interior designers are expected to grow at an average rate of 22% over the next decade.

Set designers develop special exhibits and movie, television and theater sets. In addition to conducting their own research, set designers commonly study scripts and confer with directors to determine appropriate design styles. They must come up with designs, drawings, paintings and sketches for use in windows or interior displays. Set design jobs are likely to grow at an average pace of 21% through 2014.
