decisions. Jobs in business management are expected
to grow as fast as the average for all other jobs
over the next decade.
Hospital administrators plan,
direct, coordinate and supervise health care. They
can either be in charge of specific clinical departments
or manage an entire facility, overseeing multiple
departments. Hospital administrators are responsible
for maintaining and securing all patient records,
implement policies, evaluate personnel, develop budget
reports and coordinate office activities. Over the
next eight years, hospital administrator positions
are expected to grow faster than the average for
all other occupations.
Accountants are dedicated to
ensuring that the business firms and organizations
they work for run efficiently. They analyze financial
data, evaluate degrees of financial risk, develop
client budgets, make revenue forecasts and appraise
property. Newer technologically advanced accounting
software packages are constantly being developed,
which means accountants must be able to keep up with
new and changing technologies. During the next decade
position openings for accountants are expected to
